The founders of Integrated Shield had a very personal motivation to develop an innovative school safety solution after the tragic events of the Newtown, CT school shootings. Michael Williamson's and Hank Davis' 3 daughters go to the same school in suburban Atlanta and were in the first two rooms as you enter the school. Michael and Hank wanted to do everything that they could to ensure that if a similar situation occurred at their school, that the school administration and staff had an immediate response and went into a lock down event as quickly as possible to protect the students and staff.

Since 2013, Michael and Hank have worked diligently in meeting with schools and administrators all over the country to design an affordable, easy to use solution that could potentially transform how schools manage these unfortunate situations. Integrated Shield is the first ground-breaking solution that is dedicated to accomplishing that goal.

Michael and Hank's varied backgrounds have been used to design and develop this innovative and effective solution. With over 15 years of experience building software solutions that have been implemented in over 18,000 worldwide and an extensive military background that includes skills in breaking down situations to determine the best response, the team has what it takes to deliver the best solution. 

Michael Williamson - Co-Founder

Michael Williamson is an accomplished technologist and business analyst, and is considered to be a leading expert in many areas of education technology. He is an experienced business executive in the high technology field with more than eighteen years in premiere software development.

Michael has been CEO of 2 other very successful software businesses in the K-12 education market. Horizon Software is a company that offers a comprehensive supply chain and retail management solution for education, higher education and healthcare. Michael is also CEO of Longleaf Solutions, an analytics software company focused on measuring teacher effectiveness and using data to best predict struggling students early and managing their personalized success plans prescribed by educators.

Hank Davis - Co-Founder

Hank Davis is an international airline pilot flying around the world for American Airlines.  He also spent 20 years flying the world’s most advanced fighter jets for the US Air Force.  This distinctive background brings a rare expertise in strategic mission planning, checklist utilization in high stress situations, and post incident threat analysis.  Hank has been able to combine a cross section of all of these trained disciplines with Michael’s software expertise to offer this unique and innovative solution to the school safety crisis.
